What I’m about to say is politically incorrect. If you’re easily offended or sensitive, than you may just want to skip reading this. Don’t worry though, I’m going to call myself out, too.
My programs 6 months ago were not as good as they are now.
And you know what? My programs 6 months from now will be better than they are now. As a matter of fact, they BETTER be.
If not, I’m not doing a good job of being a coach. You need to strive to be better at everything you do, from marketing all the way to program design. And one of the most important things you can do for yourself AND your clients is to learn from the best, like injury expert Rick Kaselj, one of the creators of Assessment and Exercise.
I see Rick face-to-face about 3-5 times a year, and every time I do, I pick his brain so I can improve my bootcamp workouts and metabolic finishers.
Here’s why – I am HORRIBLE at assessing clients. That’s just not a good skill of mine. So, I refer to Rick’s programs in order to improve my craft and prevent injuries to my clients.
After all, you have to learn from the best when it comes to rehab, training and performance.
And if I wasn’t a serious coach, I wouldn’t invest in continuing education. But fortunately, I find learning important as a health professional.
I can create the most amazing boot camp workouts and finishers, but if my clients (both online and offline) get hurt, then it’s MY fault for not investing in myself and learning about my clients using proper assessments and figuring out muscle imbalances, weaknesses and what would prone them to injury.
But like I said, I’m horrible at figuring those things out. That’s why there are people I highly trust to help me better my craft like Rick Kaselj. I’m fortunate to not only use his resources, but I get to talk with him on a consistent basis.
Much like I do about obsessing about metabolic resistance training and metabolic finishers, Rick obsesses about muscle imbalances and helping people not only get through an injury, but prevent them in the first place with the latest cutting-edge assessments.
And fortunately, for YOU, he’s been pouring himself into this program to help people like you and me become better coaches and trainers.
You’ll discover:
- Assessment and Exercise for Performance
- Assessment and Exercise for Athleticism
- Assessment and Exercise for Personal Training
- Assessment and Exercise for Injury Rehabilitation
Sure, you could go to 4 different seminars and spend thousands of dollars, plus time away from your family and friends.
I don’t know about you, but I like to spend every spare moment I have with my wife and son Champ.
Your son’s name is Champ??
Great. Now you’re distracted. Yes, that is awesome about his name, but pay attention.
I’m a nerd, so I like to download the mp3s and listen to stuff like this on my Ipod while I go for a walk or jog.
Getting some exercise AND learn some things to get better? That’s a win/win for me and my clients.
Then there’s the convenience of watching the videos right there on your PC (or MAC for the hip folks, but I’m old school).
So, what you need to do is to get this program and be the best coach and trainer you can be. Separate yourself from the coach down the street.
Challenge yourself to be a better coach 2 weeks from now, 6 months from and even 5 years from now. That’s what we all need to do as trainers.
It starts with you. What are your weaknesses that you can improve on? And…
… what are your strengths that you can even craft better?
That’s being the best coach you can be.
To your success,
Mike Whifield, CTT
